Terms of Use
Last updated: September 24, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of www.mypixelkit.com and the tools available on it (together, the “Service”), operated by PixelKit (“we”, “us” or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
PixelKit provides free, browser-based tools for working with images and PDF files, such as compressing, resizing, converting, merging and splitting. The tools run on your own device. We may add, change, suspend or remove any tool or feature at any time.
2. Your files and your responsibility
- Your files are processed locally in your browser and are not uploaded to or stored on our servers. This means we cannot recover a file for you, so always keep a copy of your originals.
- You keep all rights to the files you process and to the results you create. We claim no ownership over them.
- You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use, edit and convert any file you process with the Service, and that your use complies with applicable law.
- Check the output before you rely on it, for example before submitting a compressed or converted file to an official application.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to process content you have no right to use;
- attempt to disrupt, overload or damage the Service or the servers and networks connected to it;
- access the Service through automated means in a way that places an unreasonable load on it;
- copy, resell or redistribute the Service, or present it as your own;
- generate artificial clicks or impressions on the advertisements shown on the Site.
4. Intellectual property
The Site’s design, text, graphics, logo and code are owned by PixelKit or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Some tools use open-source software, which remains subject to its own licenses. Nothing in these Terms gives you the right to use the PixelKit name or logo.
5. Third-party services and advertising
The Site displays advertising provided by third parties, such as Google, and may contain links to other websites. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, products or services, and any dealings you have with them are solely between you and the third party.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided free of charge, “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that it will work with every file, browser or device, or that the results will meet your requirements.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PixelKit will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, files, profits or business, arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
8. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what information is collected and how it is used.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. By continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the revised Terms.
